Making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Piri’anga Alofa Pacific and Community Services (formerly Amataga o le Folauga) has been proudly serving Pacific communities for the past 15 years.

As a Pacific-led service unit, we are committed to providing meaningful and responsive support, run by Pacific people for Pacific people.

Our mission is to connect, empower, and uplift Pacific communities through culturally relevant services and holistic approaches. We believe in the strength of culture, family, and community, and we work to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to access the resources they need to thrive.

We put in to focus communities care, education, health, and wellbeing. Being a branch off the tree of Whānau Manaaki—New Zealand’s largest kindergarten association— we have Pacific kindergartens - the first in the world - and have additionally established Etu Ao home-based care.

As children grow, our Mau Te Rongo Navigators handle safe travel to and from school and in the community; and when finishing school, the Le Fale jobs and skills hub can guide them to find their future career.

To be supported by Piri’anga Alofa’s Navigators is to be supported and walked with through every stage in the journey of our lives.

Our Navigators help hundreds of Pasifika families with health, finance, education and cultural goals.

We support families to support their children for success in education and in life. We start with peoples’ strengths and build on those to create a successful life for the whole family.

We support Pacific values of community, culture, language, spirituality, generosity and service. Our services are offered in the spirit of Pacific partnership.
