Successful Porirua Careers Expo

Le Fale Jobs and Skills Hub - a branch of Piri’anga Alofa was one of the organisations behind a Porirua Careers Expo at the Te Rauparaha Arena in the city. Around a thousand college students attended the expo, which featured 80 stalls from employers and training organisations. All the Porirua Colleges were represented, and students also came from several Wellington secondary schools.

Le Fale had a stall, as did Whānau Manaaki Kindergartens.

Being an important hub in the Porirua community The Le Fale Navigators, provide manaakitanga and advice to enable job seekers with effective tools when looking for further training and employment opportunities. They also support families on low incomes, sole parents, and school leavers.
